Family-owned company with excellent results in vocational training as well as in dual studies, Weißenhorn

PERI AG is one of "Germany's best vocational trainers 2021". In the study conducted by the business magazine "Capital" and the talent platform "Ausbildung.de" for the 5th time, the family-owned company was able to achieve the best possible award of 5 stars in both the area of vocational training as well as in dual studies. PERI is thus one of the best vocational trainers in Germany.

"The entire vocational training team is very happy about this award," says Simon Flandi, head of vocational training at PERI. "We have done a lot in recent years to provide our apprentices and students with very good, sound and practical training and career preparation."

In recent years, PERI has continued to invest in the new training center at its headquarters in Weissenhorn, which will open in 2019. The introduction of e-learning in 2021 through Mobile Learning Smart Factories (MLS) and the HEIDENHAIN Interactive CNC Training HIT further successfully advanced the topic of Training 4.0.

In addition to the teaching of technical content, vocational training at PERI is characterized by the interdepartmental cooperation of many committed employees: Through the lived open and appreciative cooperation, a trusting basis is created between the trainees/dual students and employees from the first day. For continuous improvement and further development in the area of vocational training and dual studies, Simon Flandi and his colleagues attach great importance to regular feedback from junior staff and the departments providing training.

In 2021, 46 apprentices and dual students started their training at PERI. A total of 78 apprenctices and 53 dual students are currently working on their professional future at PERI.

A vocational training/dual study in different occupational fields is possible with PERI in the meantime not only at the head office in Weissenhorn, but also in many German PERI subsidiaries, so e.g. with PERI in Frankfurt, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Leipzig.

A total of 652 companies with around four million employees and 118,000 apprentices and dual students took part in the study. All had to answer a detailed questionnaire and were evaluated according to the same criteria.

Of the participating companies, 177 received the top result of five stars in the area of vocational training, and 119 achieved the best possible result of five stars in the area of dual studies.
