Matthias Schmitt
Senior Site Manager

For me, as a site manager with several decades of professional experience in major construction projects, the challenge of leaving our customer HeidelbergCement satisfied by ensuring that the construction process went off without a hitch, with the required quality and within the set time frame, was certainly an exciting one, especially given the scale of the technical challenges involved. Those objectives would have been impossible to achieve without the support of the entire construction site team, our subcontractors and suppliers. A very large share of this support in meeting the quality requirements came from PERI. All of the technical processing work for the formwork planning was carried out by the PERI project coordinator in consultation with those of us in site management. Thank you so much for this.

提案内容

  • Comprehensive overall solution consisting of around 97,500 m2 of PERI formwork solutions, including around 3,000 m2 of project-specific architectural concrete girder wall formwork
  • Implementation of the architectural highlights using special-purpose PERI formwork elements
  • Highly complex 3D special-purpose formwork made of steel elements with 150 mm construction height for the erection of the tree-like supports, which consisted of 63 CNC laser-cut individual parts and was covered with a 5-mm-thick steel formwork skin to withstand the high level of fresh concrete pressure
  • Three-dimensional planning of the formwork for the tree-like supports with PERI CAD and RHINO, taking into account the subsequent element separation points
  • Special-purpose formwork for the tree-like supports of the 11.50-m-high foyer combined with PERI UP Falsework
  • Concreting work for the tree-like supports carried out from below and concrete pressure determined in real time with the PERI InSite Construction Pressure Monitoring Set
  • The formwork for the facade supports and their particularly smooth concrete surfaces in the highest quality of architectural concrete made use of PERI timber girder formwork with multi-layer panels coated with melamine resin
  • PERI special-purpose formwork for the feature wall in the foyer, consisting of several prefabricated white concrete elements of the highest architectural concrete quality, which were subsequently mounted to the in-situ concrete wall
  • Project-specific formwork developed for the implementation of the cross vault, consisting of a total of 82 3D-designed architectural concrete timber formers which were pre-assembled at the factory and then delivered to the construction site

PERI special-purpose formwork consisting of a total of 64 different diamond-shaped recess boxes pre-assembled in the factory for the beams of the casino ceiling
