Efficient process flows minimise consumption of raw materials

Qualified specialists are constantly working to improve the technology with the help of the latest plants and highly developed production processes. This enables constant reduction of material use in relation to production output. The principle of closed and intelligent cycles and adherence to the minimum legal standards are the foundations of the PERI production strategy. Chromium-free corrosion protection of aluminium, and solvent-free coating of all metal products or micro dosing systems in chip removal processes are good examples here and have been in use at PERI since 1991.

Whether modern sewage treatment plants, buildings and outdoor plants made from long-life mineral materials or decentralised power supply units. Safety, profitability and environmental sustainability are the backbone of the central production site in Weißenhorn.
A new key part of production went live in 2007: PERI's own, modern biomass power station. Energy is extracted here from wood chips, a waste product from girder production and formwork assembly. This is used for power production, for process heat extraction, heating and hot water treatment. Any overcapacity is fed into the public power grid.
